TiviMate Buffering (What Causes & Fixes)
July 26, 2023 by John ColesBuffering can frustrate and disappoint you when you are watching an exciting movie scene. It’s Tivimate where we all watch live TV. Here, real-time viewing is crucial, so this is more of a disappointment.
Tivimate’s buffering is caused by external factors such as poor internet connection quality, other apps using bandwidth or maybe the service provider. We can fix this issue by optimizing the internet, adjusting the buffer size, and switching to another service provider. Here we’ll explain in detail what causes Tivimate IPTV players to buffer and how to fix them.
What Causes Tivimate Buffering?
Here are all the reasons behind buffering and what you can do about it.
Set Buffer Settings to None
The main culprit is a large or very large buffer setting. If you set this to none, the Tivimate will be able to play video sooner since it won’t have to download the video first. It will also improve the performance of the app and speed up channel switching. To do this just follow these steps:
1. Go to settings and then select Playback
2. Set the buffer size to None.
Try Rebooting Modem, Router and Firestick
Buffering can also be fixed by rebooting the devices. Rebooting clears all temporary files and glitches that can cause problems. To reboot the device, unplug it from the power outlet first. Once you’ve plugged out, wait for 30 seconds and then plug it back in again.
Play Tivimate with a VPN
You may also be experiencing slow stream playback or buffering because the content you wish to watch is restricted in your region. In order to deal with this, you use a VPN. By using a VPN, your IP address is masked and your request is routed through a server located in another country. As a result, the problem is solved.
It is important to keep a few things in mind when choosing a VPN. The first thing you need to do is choose a good VPN, such as NordVPN or Speedify. As you’re testing, you can try Speedify, which offers a free trial. The closest VPN location should always be chosen when using VPN.
Clear Tivimate Cache
Your buffering issue can also be resolved by clearing the cache of Tivimate. When the cache is cleared, all the old data in Tivimate is removed, allowing the app to start fresh and perform better. It may, however, take a while for the app to start up.
You should follow these steps in order to clear the cache:
Depending on your TV, these settings might be different. You can also try reinstalling your TiviMate premium.
Use Ethernet Cable instead of Wifi
The use of ethernet cable rather than WiFi is one effective method to resolve Tivimate buffering.
Streaming content from Tivimate over WiFi results in generally low-quality playback or buffering. It can be even worse if you have other devices connected to the same WiFi, which interfere and compete with each other.
Ethernet cable provides a consistent data transfer due to the fact that it eliminates signal interference and fluctuation and ensures that you receive a dedicated connection. Therefore wired internet connection is recommended.
Try a different IPTV player
There may be something wrong with the IPTV player if none of the above solutions resolve your playlist buffering issue. The same content can be played on another IPTV player to see if the problem is resolved. IPTV players such as Kodi and OTT Navigator IPTV are recommended.
If you do not experience buffering while streaming content to alternative services, you can use them until a Tivimate update is released.
Reduce the Video Quality
It is also possible to fix the buffering problem by reducing video quality. Your internet speed may not be able to stream the video quality you are trying to stream. Streaming quality is affected by both upload and download speeds on the Internet. In the case of lower speed, you should try reducing the quality of the video.
